Horseshoe Bay Club Covid - 19 Updates

Covid - 19 Updates

March 10, 2021

IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO MEMBERS

Dear Members,

I know you are aware that our Governor issued an Executive Order (GA-34) lifting the mask mandate in Texas and increasing the capacity of all businesses and facilities in the state to 100%. We applaud his actions as they relate to Texas and individual businesses economic benefits. We understand the advancement of vaccines and antibody therapeutic drugs and other tools Texas must now use to protect its citizens.

There appears to still be individual concerns as to both the removal of wearing a mask as well as the 100% occupancy status. Therefore, Horseshoe Bay Resort Destinations and The Club at Horseshoe Bay Resort will be addressing these concerns as noted below. We will have an active bi-weekly review of the new Executive Order results as to COVID-19 cases in Texas with a focus on Burnet and Llano Counties and the cities of Horseshoe Bay and Marble Falls.

Effective Wednesday, March 10, 2021, Horseshoe Bay Resort will observe the following policies regarding the wearing of masks and the 100% occupancy based on the influx of second homeowners and leisure guests during the spring break and pending summer season.

MASK POLICY – Horseshoe Bay Resort Associates will continue to be required to always wear masks.
Horseshoe Bay Resort Members and Hotel Guests are to be informed that the resort and club recommend they always wear masks other than when consuming food and beverage products but wearing a mask by members and guests will no longer be mandatory.

OCCUPANCY POLICY – Horseshoe Bay Resort will remain at 60% occupancy and capacity vs. 100%.

PPE KITS – The hotel will continue to issue Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) Kits at the front desk and updated signage, stating mask policy at the front desk and all amenity entrances.

TEMPERATURE- Hotel and Club Associates temperature will continue to be taken upon reporting for work.

SOCIAL DISTANCING – Horseshoe Bay Resort will encourage continued social distancing through printed and electronic communications with members and resort guests.

BAR COUNTERS OPEN – 360 Sports Club, Y-Bar, J's Bar, Slick Rock Trent's Bar, and the Yacht Club, Cap Rock and Hotel Pool bars will have bar stools replaced, allowing seating at bar counter locations. Protective Plexiglas panels have been ordered and will be installed by the end of the week at all bar locations.

POOL RESERVATIONS – Pool Reservations will continue to be required at the Hotel and Yacht Club pools through the end of March, then re-evaluated. This will allow our members to know seating has been reserved vs. having to turn members away at the gate.

QUARANTINING - The Club and Destinations operations will still be requiring associate, member, and guest quarantining for ten days if exposed to COVID.

SOCIAL GATHERINGS – The Club and Destination operations will continue to limit large-sized gatherings.

We will be reviewing our policies as needed based on results of Open Texas orders.

We appreciate all of the positive response that you have provided to us regarding our efforts to keep families safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. We will continue to update you on any guideline revisions.

Sincerely,

Ron Lynn Mitchell
